Beautiful Briny Sea's humble beginnings date back to 2011, when restaurateur Suzi Sheffield decided to seek new adventures while continuing to pursue her culinary passion. Armed with a boatload of creativity, a love for all things homemade, and a flair for whimsy, Suzi brought Beautiful Briny Sea and its beloved small-batch sea salts to life in a studio in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward.
Beautiful Briny Sea makes products using locally grown herbs, foraged mushrooms and organic spices sourced from growers and purveyors guided by methods of sustainability. They can be found from coast to coast in gourmet groceries, mom and pop stores, galleries, pop-up shops as well as many local restaurants and farmer's markets. Beautiful Briny Sea is a member of Slow Food, Georgia Organics, and The Southern Foodways Alliance.
