The farm started with mules and manual labor in the 1930’s, but Mr. Bob always pushed for the farm to utilize growing technology that kept the quality of peaches as their market expanded into the north. Today, his grandson and great-grandson uphold his standards to provide all their customers with the “freshest, most succulent fruit available.” Dickey Farms is a member of the National Peach Council, Georgia Farm Bureau, Georgia Agritourism Association, and more, and they have completed the Global G.A.P. audit. a worldwide standard for food safety. The farm in Musella, GA is open to the public for family outings during peach season featuring jams, salsa, cobbler, ice cream, and, of course, peaches.
